• Recognize cardiopulmonary arrest quickly and begin CPR within 10 seconds
• Differentiate between patients who do and do not require immediate intervention
• Identify and manage respiratory distress and respiratory failure
• Distinguish between compensated and decompensated (hypotensive) shock
• Perform timely interventions for shock management
• Differentiate between stable and unstable arrhythmias
• Apply early interventions and describe clinical characteristics of arrhythmia instability
• Apply effective team dynamics in resuscitation scenarios
