The AHA 2020 PALS Instructor Essentials Online Key Code is the self-directed, online portion of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor Essentials Blended Learning Course. This program is required for all candidates pursuing certification as an AHA PALS Instructor, as well as for AHA Faculty who instruct PALS Instructor courses. Through this online training, candidates will learn how to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended learning PALS Provider courses. The course provides foundational knowledge on the instructor role, instructional methods, and AHA policies while also covering discipline-specific content. It helps make sure future instructors are well-prepared to deliver PALS training effectively, evaluate student performance, and guide learners to achieve course objectives. The content for this course reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC. Access codes are provided via email within 24 hours for orders placed Monday–Friday (7:00 am–4:00 pm ET); orders placed after Friday 4 pm ET will be fulfilled Monday morning.
