The AHA 2020 BLS Instructor Essentials Online Key Code provides access to the self-directed, online portion of the BLS Instructor Essentials Blended Learning course. This training is required for individuals pursuing certification as an AHA BLS Instructor and for all AHA Faculty (regional and training center) who teach BLS Instructor courses. This course introduces the steps for becoming an AHA Instructor, explores the AHA Instruction Cycle (Prepare, Teach, Test & Remediate, Close, and Keep Current), and provides discipline-specific guidance for teaching BLS Provider courses. Candidates will learn how to effectively use instructor materials, coach students, evaluate skills, and ensure compliance with AHA policies.  The content for this course reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC. Access codes are provided via email within 24 hours for orders placed Monday–Friday (7:00 am–4:00 pm ET); orders placed after Friday 4 pm ET will be fulfilled Monday morning.
