The included software is consistent with AHA G2010 Guidelines. The Trainer requires 4 "AA" batteries, which are not included.

The Philips External Manikin Adapter is a reusable attachment that sticks over Manikin skin and is intended for use on CPR/AED Manikins. Once the strip is placed on the Manikin, the Philips OnSite or FRx unit can recognize when the pads have been placed, and can continue past the voice prompt, "Apply pads to patient." Without this strip, the pads will not be recognized and the voice prompt will repeat itself.

Product Description

Training for the Philips FRx AED made simple. The Philips Training pads II can be used with the HeartStart FRx or the HeartStart FRx Trainer on a Manikin connected with an external Manikin adapter. Simply plug the Training pads II in to activate the FRx defibrillator's training mode and suspend the defibrillator's ability to deliver a shock. Users can run up to eight different training scenarios. One set of Training pads II can be used to train for both adult and infant/child resuscitation, although the infant/child key (sold separately) is required for infant/child resuscitation. The defibrillator's voice instructions include CPR coaching assist for treating the simulated victim.
